Motive Products Power Bleeder Catch Bottles ensure easy collection and safe disposal of brake fluid.
Shop NowStainless steel replacement brake bleeder screws in metric and SAE threads. Each screw is listed by thread size, hex size and length, or grab the assortment kit to cover most cars in one box.
A bleeder screw (bleeder valve) sits at the highest point of each brake caliper or wheel cylinder. Cracking it open during a brake bleed lets trapped air and old fluid escape while fresh fluid pushes through; tightening it seals the hydraulic system again. Replace bleeder screws when they're rounded off, seized, corroded, or weeping fluid at the threads.
Match the replacement to the screw you're removing: check the caliper or wheel-cylinder specification in your vehicle's service manual, or measure the old screw's thread diameter and pitch with a thread gauge and compare it to the size listed on each product page. When in doubt, remove the old screw and compare before ordering.
Many factory bleeder screws are plated steel, which corrodes and seizes in the caliper over time. Stainless steel screws resist rust, so they crack open cleanly at the next fluid flush.
