1735 PowerFill Pro – 1-Gallon Manual Fluid Transfer Pump & Pressure Dispenser

The Motive Products 1735 PowerFill Pro is the professional shop standard for pressurized fluid transfer. A USA-made ball valve delivers snap-shut, drip-free control at the hose end; the integrated Schrader valve pressurizes the 1-gallon translucent tank in seconds with any tire inflator or hand pump — no shop air or electricity required. The stainless quick-connect snaps to Motive NPT adapters for direct fill-plug service on transmissions, differentials, transfer cases, and cooling systems. This listing is for the tank-only configuration — no adapters included.

Key Features

  • 1-Gallon Translucent Tank — ample capacity for single-vehicle service; see fill level without guessing.
  • Schrader Valve — pressurize to operating pressure or release safely using any standard tire inflator; no hand pumping.
  • Stainless Quick-Connect — mates directly with Motive NPT adapters, pre-lube adapters, and PowerFill adapters; swap adapters tool-free.
  • Chemical-Resistant Seals — safe with synthetic and conventional engine oil, ATF, gear lube, and coolant.

Recommended Applications

  • Manual transmission and differential gear-oil fills — no more squeeze bottles or hand pumps
  • Automatic transmission fluid service via drain-plug or fill-plug adapters
  • Transfer-case and limited-slip diff service on trucks and SUVs
  • Coolant refills and hydraulic clutch reservoir top-offs
  • Engine pre-lube when paired with Motive NPT pre-lube adapters (sold separately)

Which Motive Fluid Transfer Pump Is Right for You?

Motive builds three fluid-handling systems. Pick by job direction and capacity:

Model Best for Capacity Direction Pressurization
1735 PowerFill Pro (this product) Filling gearboxes, diffs & transfer cases on a single vehicle 1 gallon Dispenses (pushes fluid in) Schrader valve – any tire inflator
1745 PowerFill Pro Multi-vehicle shops & fleet bays; fewer refills 2 gallons Dispenses (pushes fluid in) Hand pump with 0–30 psi gauge
1702 Power Extractor Removing oil, ATF & brake fluid topside — no lift needed 2 gallons Extracts (pulls fluid out) Manual vacuum pump

If you need to remove old fluid before refilling, pair the 1735 with the 1702 Power Extractor for a complete drain-and-fill workflow without crawling under the vehicle.

Fluid Transfer Pump FAQ

Is the 1735 a manual fluid transfer pump?

Yes. It's a manually pressurized transfer pump — no electricity required. Charge the tank through the Schrader valve with any hand tire pump or shop compressor, then the ball valve controls flow. Nothing to plug in and no batteries.

What fluids can I transfer with it?

Gear oil, ATF, synthetic and conventional engine oil, coolant, and hydraulic clutch fluid. The seals are chemical-resistant for all common automotive service fluids.

Can I fill a transmission or differential through the fill plug?

Yes — that's the primary use. Connect the matching Motive NPT adapter to the stainless quick-connect and dispense fluid straight into the fill plug, no funnels or squeeze bottles.

Do I need shop air or a compressor?

No. The Schrader valve accepts any standard tire inflator or hand pump, so the 1735 works anywhere — driveway, track, or shop bay.

What's the difference between PowerFill and Power Extractor?

PowerFill dispenses fluid into a component under pressure. The Power Extractor removes old fluid by vacuum. Use them together for a full drain-and-fill.
