Vehicle Fitment & OEM Compatibility

The 1103 seals to the OE Chrysler/Dodge/MoPar master-cylinder reservoir cap — the wide, snap-and-thread style used on most Chrysler-platform brake and clutch masters from the classic muscle era through modern models. It's designed to seal on the factory reservoir without modification, so there's no need to remove the OEM cap gasket or swap the master cylinder. Common applications include:

  • Dodge – Charger, Challenger, Ram 1500/2500/3500, Durango, Dakota, Viper and more
  • Chrysler – 300, 300C, Sebring, PT Cruiser, Pacifica, Town & Country
  • Plymouth – Barracuda, Road Runner, Satellite, Fury, Duster and other classic models
  • Jeep – Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Liberty and related Chrysler-platform Jeeps
  • Classic and modern MoPar performance builds using stock Chrysler master cylinders

Reservoir caps changed across model years and trims. Confirm your cap profile against the Motive Application Guide before ordering — if your vehicle uses a threaded 45 mm or GM-style cap, a different adapter applies.

Key Features

  • MoPar-Specific Fit – engineered for the geometry of Chrysler/Dodge reservoir caps for a positive, leak-free seal.
  • Quick-Disconnect Compatible – connects to any Motive Power Bleeder tank via stainless quick-disconnect.
  • Durable Construction – handles DOT 3/4 brake fluid and everyday shop chemicals.
  • One-Person Operation – pressurize to 15–20 psi, crack the bleeders, no helper required.

Installation Guide

  1. Top off the master-cylinder reservoir with fresh fluid and wipe the cap sealing surface clean.
  2. Add 1–2 quarts of fresh brake fluid to your Motive Power Bleeder tank so it never runs dry mid-bleed.
  3. Seat the 1103 adapter onto the Chrysler/Dodge reservoir cap opening and secure it per the cap style.
  4. Snap the tank's stainless quick-disconnect onto the 1103 adapter.
  5. Pump the tank to 15–20 psi and watch for a steady, leak-free seal at the cap.
  6. Starting at the caliper farthest from the master cylinder, open each bleed screw until clean, air-free fluid flows, then close it. Work toward the closest caliper.
  7. Release tank pressure before disconnecting, top off the reservoir, and reinstall the OEM cap.

Customer Q&A

Will the 1103 fit my Jeep Wrangler or Grand Cherokee?

Yes — Chrysler-platform Jeeps (Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Liberty) that use the standard Chrysler/Dodge reservoir cap are covered. Verify your specific cap against the Application Guide.

Do I need a Motive Power Bleeder tank to use this adapter?

Yes. The 1103 is an adapter only. If you don't have a tank yet, the complete 0103 Chrysler Power Bleeder Kit includes the tank, pump, gauge, and this adapter.

What's the difference between the 1103 and the 1113 Black Label adapter?

The 1103 is the standard Chrysler/Dodge adapter. The 1113 Black Label is a premium CNC-billet version (included with the 0113 kit) for enthusiasts who want the upgraded finish and durability.

Can I bleed a hydraulic clutch with it?

Yes. If your Mopar uses a hydraulic clutch fed from the brake reservoir, the same adapter and tank bleed the clutch slave cylinder.

What brake fluid and pressure should I use?

DOT 3 or DOT 4 glycol fluid at 15–20 psi covers nearly all Chrysler applications. Never mix fluid types in one system.
